"There
are places I'll remember all my life", sang the Beatles
in one of their most evocative songs. Many of those places
are in the "London Town" of this walk.
- So
get back with Richard to the place where the opening scenes
for A Hard Day's Night were filmed;
- the
restaurant featured in Help!,
- the
former Apple Shop which had the psychedelic mural
painted on the wall;
- the
registry office where two of the Beatles were married,
- the
apartment immortalised by Ringo, John and Yoko where
the infamous 'Two Virgins' picture was taken.
- We'll
also see the house where Paul lived with Jane Asher. Those
were the days ... for it was in that house that
John and Paul wrote I Want To Hold Your Hand.
- And
for a grand finale - the legendary Abbey Road studios
and crosswalk
- The
tour ends at the Beatles
Coffee Shop, where you can buy a range of Beatles
souvenirs including The
Guide to the Beatles London.
There
is no need to book for tours
just
meet Richard and your fellow walkers
on the pavement by the archway entrance to the Marylebone
Station at the time stated.

The
tour lasts just over two hours and costs £6 per person
(£5 for full-time students and OAPs). Children under
15 go free if accompanied by an adult.
Please
note that both Beatles tours include a short tube journey
to St John's Wood for Abbey Road. To save time and money,
please buy a travel card for Zones 1&2 before coming to
the tour.

Tours
take place in ALL weathers.
| Looking
for somewhere for lunch or dinner? Why not try the ORIGINAL
Hard Rock Cafe - it's at 150 Old Park Lane. The nearest
tube station is Hyde Park Corner. If you come on a Beatles
walk you can get a card which gives you 'First Available
Seating' - effectively jumping the queue at what can be
a very busy restaurant.
While
at the Hard Rock visit the Vault - it includes the Hard
Rock's best memorabilia - including the harpsichord
used by The Beatles on Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds
and All You Need is Love.
