Special
VIP Beatles Tours with Leslie Cavendish - The Beatles Hairdresser
If you would like a really special tour we can arrange special
VIP tours. These tours will be guided by Richard Porter and
special guest guide Leslie Cavendish, who was the Beatles
official hairdresser from 1967 to 1975.
Leslie first worked for renowned hairdresser Videl Sassoon.
While there he had the opportunity of cutting Jane Asher's
hair. She was so impressed she asked Leslie to cut her boyfriends
hair too - and her boyfriend was Paul McCartney! Leslie then
became the official hairdresser of the Beatles and was employed
by the Beatles in a salon in the basement of Apple Tailoring
in the Kings Road, Chelsea.
Leslie was on the Magical Mystery Tour Coach and also witnessed
the rooftop concert at 3 Savile Row. He has incredible first
hand stories of his time with the Beatles and will share them
